Leaf Cleaning

Leaves gone. Yard clean. Zero bags on your curb.

Fallen leaves smother grass and make an otherwise tidy yard look messy. We blow, rake, and haul off every leaf — lawns, beds, gutters' edges, and hard surfaces — and leave the yard ready to enjoy.

Leaf Cleaning — Michael's Mowing
Overview

Why leaf cleaning matters.

A thick layer of leaves blocks sunlight and traps moisture, which is how lawns end up with dead patches and fungus by spring. Getting them up regularly is one of the simplest ways to protect your yard through fall and winter.

We clear leaves from the lawn, flower beds, fence lines, and hard surfaces like driveways, sidewalks, and patios. Everything we collect leaves with us — no piles by the curb waiting for pickup.

Leaf cleanup can be a one-time seasonal visit or added to your regular mowing schedule while leaves are coming down.

What's included

Every leaf cleaning visit.

  • Lawns raked & blown clear of leaves
  • Flower beds & shrub lines cleared out
  • Driveways, sidewalks & patios blown clean
  • Fence lines & tight corners cleaned
  • All leaves & debris hauled off the property
  • Available one-time or on a recurring schedule
Our process

How the job runs.

  1. 1
    Walk the yard

Quick walk-through to see where leaves have collected — beds, corners, fences, and everything in between.

  2. 2
    Blow & rake

Leaves blown out of beds and onto the lawn, then gathered into one clean sweep. Nothing gets missed in the corners.

  3. 3
    Haul it all off

Every bag and pile leaves with us. Your yard is left clean — not just rearranged.

  4. 4
    Final blow-off

Hard surfaces blown off and the yard walked one last time before we go.

Timing in North Texas

When to do it.

Leaf drop in North Texas runs from late October into January, with oaks often holding leaves into early spring. Two cleanups — one in fall and one in late winter — keep the lawn clear of smothering debris before spring green-up.

FAQs

Questions we hear a lot.

When should I schedule leaf cleanup?

Any time leaves are piling up. Many customers do one big cleanup in late fall and another in early spring once the last leaves drop.

Do you haul the leaves away?

Yes — all leaves and debris are hauled off the property. You don't need to bag anything or wait for city pickup.

Can this be combined with mowing?

Absolutely. Leaf cleanup can be added to a regular mowing visit while leaves are coming down, or booked on its own.

What if it rains before my appointment?

We work around the weather — wet leaves are heavier, but they still get cleaned up. We'll reschedule only if the yard is too soggy to work without damage.
